Its contoured scales provide a secure, comfortable grip with or without gloves, while the hidden lanyard loop keeps your hand locked in place without creating hot spots. Removable scales and a drain groove in the Kydex sheath make cleaning and maintenance simple.

The blade geometry is tuned for real-world versatility. A mid-height saber grind, 0.020″ thickness behind the edge, and a 20 DPS edge profile deliver a blend of durability and cutting efficiency that feels at home on everything from camp chores and workshop tasks to everyday utility work. Thin enough to cut well, robust enough for demanding use, the MK-4 avoids the compromises found at either extreme.

Choose CPM 3V at 60-62 HRC for exceptional toughness and edge stability, or MagnaCut at 61-63 HRC for outstanding corrosion resistance and well-rounded performance. Either way, the MK-4 is built to be a dependable companion that excels across a wide range of tasks.

Our knives are crafted from MagnaCut or CPM 3v. Both of which are high end powder metals with their own identifying characteristics. Have question about which choice best suits your use case scenario? Give us a call!

Micron Knives feature G10, linen micarta, or canvas micarta handle scales. a high-strength composite material made from layers of fiberglass, linen, or canvas and epoxy resin. These phenolic resins are durable, waterproof, and engineered to perform. Linen and canvas micarta is better suited for cold environments and provide better grip, while G10 will not stain when processing your harvest and is a more refined texture.

Yes, every Micron Knife comes with a custom-molded Kydex sheath. Each sheath is designed to securely hold the knife, ensuring a perfect fit for safe carry and easy deployment. Kydex is highly durable, resistant to wear and tear, and provides excellent retention, making it the ideal material for protective knife sheaths.

All Micron Knives are designed and manufactured in the USA, ensuring the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Everything is produced at our machine shop, Kelley-Tron Machine Co.

At this time, Micron Knives does not offer custom engraving or modifications. However, the team is always working on expanding options, so stay tuned for future updates.

Yes, the G10 or Micarta handle scales on Micron Knives are fully removable, allowing for customization and maintenance. This design makes the knife highly versatile. Users can wrap the tang with paracord for a lightweight survival setup or leave it exposed for an ultralight carry option. The removable scales also make cleaning easier, especially after heavy outdoor use where dirt, moisture, or debris may get trapped under the grips.
